Using an American VPN can get you The Sims 3 for $7.99 reduced from $19.99 which is £4.77 on Steam.

If you're in Britain and looking at Steam, you'll probably notice it's on sale for £11.99 reduced from £29.99.

So basically in it's 'sale' Sims 3 is the same price in the UK as to what it normally is in the US...

What. The. ****?

I'd be careful doing this though....
Im not sure how they can tell but if steam catch on that you are using VPN to purchase games at lower prices they will catch you.

(just trying to find the source link) so food for thought atm.

Thanks,

however does anyone have any dealings with them?

Or can anyone tell me the best and cheapest way to get battlefield 4 premium please? :)

russian key. is the language locked to russian like bf3 was? and you have to fart about with language packages to get english every single patch?

hmm anyone know of a cheap place for Aarklash Legacy? found out there was a steam sale a week or so ago but missed it :(

Been considering getting FTl and it seems to be on sale on steam - worth picking up? Or has it been cheaper and thus should I wait abit longer :)

FTL has been in lots of sales. Wait for the Easter sale.

Still looking for a decent price for SMB. Surprised its still £12 on steam.

Maybe :P I'm just looking to pick it up - I know I wont be playing it for a bit tbh, getting through fire emblem atm, then RoS on 25th (with the bioshock infinite dlc) , basically just want to see if people would recommended it, sort of interested in it but not sure if Il play it much - 2.50 isnt much of a loss though...hmmmm lol

It's brilliant, one of the best rogue likes ever made and has lots of depth/replayability. Can be very, very frustrating though, it's downright impossible at times unless you randomly wander into the right shops with the right equipment and the best/safest random events. £2 is about 10% of what it's worth if you end up getting absorbed by it, which most people who play it do. So see it as a 90% discount. ;)

EDIT: There has been 7,000 reviews on Steam all of which are positive, not a single thumbs down at all. It also peaked at 18k players which is huge, game must have sold like hot cakes to reach those numbers. It's also scored solid 8.4 metacritic which is difficult for what is basically a flash game. It's brilliant.
