*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

I had that, completed them but only a dozen multi games and I dont remember dlc multiplayer especially.

We had a modder setting off fireworks across the city for 20 mins or so and handing out custom high end vehicles. A motorbike with a fire inside each wheel?

never heard of chrono.gg . The site looks legit.. i assume they are like bundlestars/humble bundle, rather than like the key sites.

$4 for 2 incredible games is a steal. I believe there is a high texture pack out for SS2 as well.

$4 for 1 incredible game and 1 that you're probably better off just watching bits of on YouTube. The first has not aged well, and does not stand up compared to the second.

SS2 is a contender for my favourite game ever.

Inflated MSRPs are go.

$132 for 8 indie/older games? Yeah, pull the other one ;) That's £17 quid each or thereabouts, and many of those games go for £5 individually on Steam.

Do they think we're idiots?

Was thinking the same lol

Every retailer, everywhere does this, they always have and always will. Not sure why you're picking out the Humble Bundle for this? Only making a point of this so I can offer a different opinion. The Humble Monthly Bundle's have (bar one or two) been well worth the price. If you own almost every game on Steam then obviously there'll be some overlap and the value will go down, but on the whole it's been pretty good.

(And yes, retailers do think we're idiots)

System Shock noob here, so bear with me... ;)

Is SS2 worth playing even if you never played SS1? Or do you need to be familiar with the storyline in SS1?

Yeah, like it or not its totally standard practice. You just have to look past it and see if its still a good deal, which with the humble bundles it usually is as long as you don't have many of the games.

Anyone remember magazine cover disks back in the day? "Over £200 worth of free software!!!!"

Probably yes, if you can't tell the difference between an actual selling price and the MSRP/RRP.

Only matters if you want the game or not, usually the price is good even just for one of them. Day of the Tentacle is an all-time classic btw for anyone too young to recognise, play it if you havent.

I've been a Humble Bundle subscriber for 12 months now and I must say have never been let down with the value and quality of the games. Plus some of the money goes to charity, so it's a win win.

I also love the surprise factor of the gamble of not knowing the rest of the bundle. Can't wait for XCOM2 as it was one that passed me by the first time around.

If I do get doubles of games I already have then my lad gets them gifted to him. So that's win, win, win. :D
