Steam link only works through steam games? It's come to the point where I don't even login to steam unless there's something specific I want to play. Most of my gaming is through Origin and UPlay these days.

Yes and no..

Yes it needs steam app open to work..

No its not limited to steam games.. if you add a non steam game to steam itself it will work to an extent.

£16 from steam ended up £24 after shipping, I cancelled that and ordered from Game with free shipping for £16, luckily someone declined my offer of £20 on MM and the ones I made on the bay :)

am I right in thinking the steam link has to be connected to the pc in order to use? if so its no good to me as my pc is upstairs in my gaming room and tv downstairs lol

It has to be connected via network (preferably wired) so if your internet comes in by your TV like a lot do these days then you'll be fine - that's kind of the whole point of it (if your PC was by the TV then you could just plug it in directly :p)

Also works over homeplugs, although I've found I need to re-pair mine every few months as I start getting freezes.

Other than that, works flawlessly, and I have to agree with the Chris [beans] in that it's one of the best value accessories you can get for PC gaming for the price!

Hi Guys,

I was looking for some new games so I bough a few random keys, none of them I like.. So first come first serve.

Is there any reason not to use G2A? I've bought a few game keys from there and they always work, and seem much cheaper than elsewhere. What's the catch I'm missing?

its a marketplace so theres always a chance the person selling the key has somehow stolen it etc.. which is why g2a offer protection on those purchases... for a fee ofcourse
other than that slight risk there really isnt a reason not to buy from them, atleast in my experience.. i have bought several keys from there before
