If you mean, can you uninstall and reinstall then yes. It will remain in you game list even if not installed.

That's damn good.

How many, roughly, of the top games allow this? 50%?

Last game I bought on Steam was HL2 when it first came out!

I find the steam version requiring uplay to be completely silly.. I activated it on steam, downloaded, installed it.. clicked 'play', and immediately get uplay firing up to 'activate' it also.. talk about redundancy.

I hate uplay. Is Far Cry 3 worth it? :p

Yes! Its a fantastic game and the co-op is great too. I hate Uplay so i totally get where you are coming from, although in the past month or so, the update speeds have increased and that was my main gripe with it.

I meant what percentage of non - Steam games can be linked to Steam. Make sense?

If you add a non-steam game to steam it just creates a shortcut in your library, it doesn't add it to your account in any other way. But you can make as many game shortcuts in your library as you want.

I bought dragon age origins ultimate edition on steam but can't get it to work crashes when i select origins on title screen:( anyone got it to work on win 8.1?? tried compatibility settings no luck:(
