Thanks. So the games don't refer back to each other then ? I see in the Mafia 2 description it seems to be another chap you playing there ??

Don't know whether M1 and M2 are connected, never played M1, M3 is definitely nothing at all to do with M2 as it's Vietnam era, 2 is pre WWII, M2 is really good-it's the only GTA type title Iv'e ever stuck at, M3 I refunded on Steam as it was terrible.

Thanks, I bought M2 just a few hours ago but hold of on M3, glad I did since oyu the 2nd person saying it not worth it. Cheers ! :cool:

Mafia 2 feels incredibly empty and hollow compared to your average GTA and the amount of driving gets old fast. It's still an ok experience but don't expect a full on GTA type game because it only gets about halfway there.

It's really more akin to LA Noire in that there's a large city but not too much reason to go exploring beyond the scope of the storyline/missions.
