*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

If anyone is interested in Burnout Paradise Remastered on PC, you can get a 75% discount on Origin if you own the original game. The discount can be found in the MyHome section. If you own the game on Steam, I've read reports that you can use the CD key on Steam to activate the game on Origin.

Price comes out at £4.49 and the release date is 20th August.

Few good deals on Steam's front page.

Farming Sim 17 is £7.99
Shadow of Mordor GOTY is £6.39

@Spacedeck I tried putting the Steam code I have on Origin but it said the code had already been redeemed. Not sure what I need to do.

On the main page while logged in, do you see the veterans banner at the top of the Burnout Paradise store page? The banner needs to be clicked for the discount to apply. https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/burnout/burnout-paradise-remastered

I've read reports that some are able to do this without actually having the original on Origin. There is a post related I found on Steam.

"Several people claim that you can get the Remaster for cheap even without the Ultimate Edition present on Origin.
Just go to Origin via your browser, log in and look for "featured games and deals" and there is supposedly a banner with the 75% off for the Remaster. Click it and you can buy the game for the reduced price.

Already bought it for cheap and I don't see that banner anymore, so can't really check it.
"

I also believe this is what you said you already tried but I'll post it here anyway just incase it's not the same.

"1) Make sure that you pressed install the game (Well, I'm pretty curious why I have to do this)
2) Don't have to wait for the game to finish the download, you can proceed to the next step
3) Right click on the game name → View CD-Key
4) Click Copy to clipboard
5) Login (or create an account if you don't have one) to Origin
6) Click the Origin on top bar → Redeem Product Code
7) Paste the code you copied then Next
8) Configured base on your preference (not sure on this step)
9) Tadaa! You now have Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box (Not the Remastered one) in the library
10) Now you can proceed to buying the Burnout Paradise: Remastered with 75% discount
"

Failing these, might be worth emailing EA to see if they can add the game.

Same thing happened when I tried to redeem my Steam CD Key on Origin but I then clicked the veterans banner as Spacedeck suggested and when I got through to checkout it had Burnout™ Paradise Remastered Standard Edition for £4.49 even though I don't have it in my Origin game library, only Steam.
Thanks for the info Spacedeck.

Cheers

Good to hear, it's good if more people buy this at a disount. ups the playerbase :).

I do question the time frame for release though... 11PM BST is cutting it a little short for day release. Could have released it in the afternoon, not an hour before the day ends..

Is the new humble bundle worth getting??
Depends how you feel about the middle tier. Most people already have Bioshock in one form or another, and the other two games in that mid tier are probably very dependent upon personal tastes. In the $1 tier Layers of Fear has been given away free before, so you probably already have it, and the other games are so-so co-op/multiplayer experiences. No comment on the top tier as I think you'll probably have an idea about those two games already, although you're obviously going to have to like the idea of co-op gaming.

It does look like a good list and all money goes to charity. A GMG rep on Reddit posted this: https://se.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/c...ming_gamesaid_50_game_charity_bundle/e4kz5m0/

He lists the games and the full price and historic low of each game, information taken from ITAD, but it's worth noting this doesn't include CDKeys prices. With all he says, even with the lowest historic prices it would come to £113.29. So a good saving overall.
