*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Yeah everyone has been mentioning it in the CP2077 thread :p You can use SetupVPN as a chrome extension if anyone needs a free one.
Is this going to wind up getting you in trouble with GOG and jeopardise your account with them?

To date nobody has been punished, officially they've said they would prefer we didn't for obvious reasons. GOG is DRM free which makes this sort of thing possible.

It states in the GOG terms of sale when you checkout that you are agreeing that you are in, or are a resident of (I forget the exact wording) country x. It implies that you are agreeing that you aren’t using a VPN to appear to be buying from a different region.
I wasn’t looking for the info, I spotted it during checkout so it’s not hard to find. Difficult to miss in fact. I imagine if they do crackdown they will point to this section of their terms. I doubt they will enforce this retrospectively, however if it ends up costing them a significant amount of money I’m sure they will find a way to enforce it going forward.

I'd be surprised if they did, but as you say it does seem to be against their terms of sale, I'm sure their T&C's used to say something like 'please don't use a VPN, it's not cool', but doesn't seem to any more.

I guess as it's DRM free it's not like they can revoke your access anyway...

Of course it costs them a significant amount of money. This has been going on for years. NOBODY has been punished, this is rampant with GoG and isn't going to change anytime soon unless GoG does something significant to change things. If you can buy product x for cheaper, most people will, whether your ethical and moral obligations prevent you from doing it is a decision for yourself.

List of games Epic are giving away along with the dates they will be available... some big ones in there
(found this on HUKD and i think the post has been removed so maybe take it with a grain of salt?)

Wow.

<3 Epic. That list is awesome! Much want..

Yikes, that's quite a list. I don't mind EGS overall although for some reason I am a little reluctant to get Hitman 3 on there. That said, IOI have said they'll ensure progress and all content from the Steam versions of the previous games can be be brought over to H3, so realistically there shouldn't be a difference.

Looks too good to be true. But Epic have some freaking deep pockets, so....

Maybe it's the final swansong. They could be finishing the promotion at the end of the year.

Ah, that would make sense.

Why would they have spelling mistakes if the list was real?
Horizon zero down?
Hope it turns out to be true.

Horizon Zero Down is the other game about a primitive young woman, who battles the winter having a duvet filled only with artificial materials.
