Good afternoon,
Coming on a year ago I purchased a PC from Overclockers solely for Microsoft Flight Simulator and it had proved the perfect choice. However for the last two months I have been working away from home so it has sat in a switched off state. I am finally home and have gone to use it to find no signal is coming through to the monitor although the PC fires up like I would expect it to. As such to troubleshoot the problem I tried 1) plugging the HDMI lead in to a different port on the back of the monitor 2) repeating the previous in both ports with a different HDMI lead altogether 3) replacing the HDMI cables with a DVI to HDMI cable. When none of these steps made a difference I repeated all the steps again with a different older monitor I had which made no difference.
Does anyone have any ideas what I’m dealing with here? Why would a PC’s signal suddenly stop after 2 months without use?
Thanks
M
