PC Not Accepting RAM?!

Ahh ok cheers buddy! Not gonna bother having another play around till tommorow evening when i get in from work so look out for this thread if your around as i might get stuck lol!

Looking at that BIOS, seems you don't have anything else to change anyway! You have the three basics though, which will see you through.

Righto before i start can i just confirm that the option highlighted in red in the below pic of my Guru Utility is the one i need to change?

And when you guys say put it up a notch it is currently set at 1.50v as you can see and it goes all the way up to 2.00v so i have 50 "notches" i can go up! I went up to 1.60v yesterday, but still nothing :(

pull the battery out of the motherboard, leave it a minute, and put it back in. This will reset all the bios settings back to default (meaning you'll lose your overclock), but this just helps to eliminate one potential problem. Then try booting with the 2x2gb.

Have you tried booting with one 2gb stick, and then the other one by itself. This just makes sure that one of the sticks isnt completely dead

It was doing it when the CPU was at stock last year and i really don't want to lose that overclock as my CPU is the main bottleneck of my system especially if it goes back to stock! Gonna update the BIOS tommorow from floppy disc as the patch notes show fixes for a few memory issues including "Fixed an issue where the system may not boot when installing memory on DIMM3.". So gonna try that first then if no luck still i will consider resetting :(

Ah, that may be your problem. Try that first, but with a little googling (or digestion of the manual) you might be able to find a sensible limit for the MCH voltage. You could up it to that and see if it boots, then reduce it back down until it's stable but not too low to boot every time OK.

Don't forget to set the BIOS to defaults before, and after flashing. It sometimes helps eliminate problems.
