pc or not to pc

thinking of giving up pc games and going to buy ps3 stuff instead.There seems to be a lot off stuff out there for the ps3 atm.I am thinking of getting gran turismo 5.I just dont see anything i like anymore for the pc.Anybody here got gt 5 for the ps3 and would i see much difference in performance over pc games.
 
why? dont u think the graphics look good.Just been watching trailers and to me they look better than any pc car games i have played.
 
Performance wise NO
Graphics wise, yes, obviously.
Gameplay, opinions vary, personally I like PC's better than any consoles.

And a PS3? Just no IMO.
I even have an XBOX 360 which I havn't used for over a year, (Since I upgraded my PC to play the latest games)
 
GT5 needs some work, especially in multi player. The graphics ain't all that, either, and the sound is suspect too...

There's no need to sacrifice one for the other, just have both.
 
if the multiplayer dosnt work proper on gt5 that may put me off a bit.Thats the only gameplay i like really.Think i will need to look into it more before i go out and buy it.
 
i have both, but use my consoles more for gaming, i jsut find playing games on them less of a fuss, ie , bugs, performance issues etc.
Pc are great for mods, i just find them a tad to tempremental for games sometimes
 
could always wait for Test Drive Unlimited 2 on the pc.

some of the pc driving games do look really good once u turn all the graphics options on and run it in high res
 
I have both, I think each has its strengths.

PSN is cack, sometimes. I bought Black Ops for the PS3 because my PC wasn't built yet, and I've given up trying to play it online because the PSN multiplayer is... well... broken.

Every now and then they'll take PSN offline for as much as 24 hours for 'maintenance'.
 
To be fair, online PSN play is free though. I'd rather have that than be a slave of Microsoft's gold subscription model.

If it works, yeah. I'd rather pay for something that works than have something that's broken for free, though. Haven't been on it for a fortnight so dunno if it's fixed yet, but Black Ops is ruined on PSN. Get about ten minutes per hour of actual gameplay, and if you get to the end of 30% of matches without being disconnected or host migration failure, you're doing well.
 
GT5 graphics aren't anything special, no AA makes it look horrible. The photo mode makes it look far better than it is. There are racing games for the PC with better graphics, but that shouldn't be the priority.
 
PC still has more games than PS3.
PC can play all the PS3 games on max but PS3 can't such as Crysis.
The PC game is generally cheaper than PS3 counterpart. Plus with steam sales, you can buy lots of excellent games as happened recently in november sales:).
Sure PS3 gets some exclusives but they are few and far inbetween per year.

You can connect gamepads such as logitech dual action controller to pc and play 3rd person action/adventure games smoothly and nicely. So on PC you get both pc and console experience:).

I have both and respect both but PC for me always:).
