Ok vista 64 installed, i changed dvd drive and it just went straight on 
all drivers etc installed, 4gb mem detected - 4ghz overclock on it :O its running as my home server and backup gaming rig nicely 
now to save for a new graphics card!

Indeed, the IDE is optical, although i unplugged it, dont use dvd drives XD
