Sounds like you got a problem with cooling! remove, re-apply, reseat and retest. If this fails you could have to RMA the processor if its still in warrenty.

oki oki, i went out to a well known pc shop and had a look, the cheapest cpu cooler they had was a zalman and it was 50 poonds :O:O:O so i went to a local shop which had one that looks like the scythe for 10 poonds :-] and now its idling @ 20c. Ima test a game now to see if it was the cpu or not. Fingers crossed

Finaly you checked and as we all said temperatures are too high.
What cpu and what its clocked at and what heat sink?
