I’d go totally back to basics at this point. Short the bios jumpers, fresh copy of Windows 11 (or Debian if you’re a love machine who gets all the chicks) and go from there.
Reseat everything, hell start as barebones as you can get. All the fans unplugged, anything non essential out.
All I can think of is the battery pull did a full bios clear and you’ve lost something UEFI related which is borking the GPU initialisation. Didn’t think Windows worked that way though…
Where the **** is our Linux test![]()

You've already tarnished/embarassed that hardware, with that case and RGBI have it on my laptop, I'm not tarnishing my pc with it!

You've already tarnished/embarassed that hardware, with that case and RGB
So you mean to tell me, you have all thosegayRGB fans, but no spare SATA/NVME, to do a test install on another drive? #priorities![]()

Your first mistake, was buying an over-inflated X platform motherboard - versus buying a bigger single NVME.What's wrong with a Lian-Li O11D? The hardware is clearly ******, I'm not wasting any more time on it![]()

So what you're saying is that you're on the fence with Lian-Li?Your first mistake, was buying an over-inflated X platform motherboard - versus buying a bigger single NVME.
To overpay for a motherboard, based on the ability to run multiple small NVME's/SATA's, is madness, as is to care about USB4.0, and then buy the over-inflated few drives/devices, that use it![]()
B850, or GTFO!
As for Lian-Li:
They are a cheap overpriced POS brand, one of the most cliche scumbag brands, that I've ever had the displeasure to experience - you only have to look at their laughable product support/descriptions/website, to know they're ******* you, hard!
They're nothing special, often more than not, they're generic cases/products rebranded/stamped with their name.
I consider them an entry to mid level at best components, re-badged, at an inflated price, to **** wits who, for some reason, 'liked' their products, when they were even worse in the early 2000's!
I've had personal experience with their products, since '04, and nothing has ever striked me as 'worth the extra money/premium' with their products - in fact, the polar opposite.
I find it laughable that they often lesser warranties than rival, better brands, for things such as PSU's yet charge more - had this issue when considering their SFX PSU's versus Corsair/everyone else.
Despite their history, being unbiased, I considered one of their cases recently, only to find, guess what, it was ****, terrible bundled fans, that you're forced to buy with the case at an inflated price, **** airflow and cable management, cut yourself 90's/00's case material quality, hilarious 00's grade website support/documentation; all at a rip-you-off price!
They remind me of those random scumbag Chinese ebay sellers, that claim they're UK based, then you buy something, and get bombarded at silly 'AM with emails/delayed replies, with 'Chinglish broken English responses, pretending to be English, starting each message with 'Hello Dear' (as with every Chinese seller pretending to be English, that I've ever been conned by) then sending you some shady Chinese logistics tracking...
TLDR, they might as well be Acer to me, and I HATE Acer!
No thank you
Rip-off merchants asideI hope you get it sorted mate![]()

Or perhaps people just have different use cases to yourself? Pray tell me how big are the M2 drives I'm using? Hint, bigger than 2Tb.
The case is the best I've ever had in terms of build features. I'm not about to start getting tribal over pc cases, life's too short
Never really been into 'bang for buck' builds, I get what I like the look of generally. Plus I was an early adopter, B850 didn't exist.
If it is MB looking at X870 Tomahawk, few mbs don't seem to split the PCI bandwidth, doubt it makes much difference but would be nice to know I'm getting 'full speed'.
Btw your tirades remind me very much of another member we used to have, so much so I'm beginning to think you are indeed them.

my mistake - I took your laid back humour on here, as a relay back and forth - I thought it was clear that we were joking back and forth? I didn't realize that I had offended you, so I apologize! What's wrong with a Lian-Li O11D? The hardware is clearly ******, I'm not wasting any more time on it![]()
Ps. Where's that link for the wireless non RGB fans?
So I did a new install after reseating CPU. It got to the windows noise and I have a black screen, with a movable cursor and the screen is flashing every few seconds with a pattern. This is onboard.
So can we safely say this is CPU or mobo now. I can still hear it booting up to window I just can't get a picture with igpu or GPU now.
I can see the bios with igpu, but just does the flashing thing when it gets to windows.
Cpu in warranty until Nov 24th so would rather it was that, temp mobo arriving tomorrow.
