My hard drive light is hardly off on start up I only install a few games at a time my hd is a wd 500 g should I get a 60 g ssd and reinstall windows 7 on that along with say arma2 etc and use the 500g to install things like music iTunes etc etc ?

easiest way is to disconnect it from the system when you go to install your o/s onto the ssd, they re connect it once your up and running on the ssd.
