PC Specs (again - sorry)

Well, i like the spec, just i dunno whether that CPU is going to last or not :) maybe a 3500? Also do i need any cooling devices? I will be buying a case later on probably..i have a customized one atm.

I wouldnt go for a 1x1gb stick unless you were considering a second stick in the very near future. Obviously it won't run in dual channel with just the one stick.

Hehe, ill do it later, im on a budget as i dont work. Well atm i have : AMD Athlon 2800, 512mb Ram, 9800 Pro..450w q-tec psu..so im wanting to spend £400-500 (500 max) on a new PC kit.. Will i feel a lot of difference in a 2800 and the 64 3000 or the 2800 and the 3200?

Yes definately. and I'd highly recommend a 1gb kit as opposed to 1x1gb stick purely for performance reasons. The processor depends on whether you require the safety net of a 3 years warranty I suppose. Nothing to stop you clocking that 3200 to 3500 speeds except the fear :D

Right, I think i've done it to the dot! :D

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail

Or are there some alterations i could do? :)

That's very good value for £480, and will run games nicely. Just remember that mobo and graphics card are this week only until thurday :)

Edit: And if you want to do some overclocking, pickup a tube of arctic silver 5 and a heatsink of your choice, like the freezer 64 or the Big Typhoon. Or if not, just a tube of as5 will surely help out.
