Hi everyone,

I`m new user looking some advice from the experts. I hope you guy`s can help me, also I apologize for my bad English but is not my main language.

The PC is not for games as I only use it for work (Office), youtube, browser and some photo and video editing.

I`m looking for something like this:

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X Six Core 5.30GHz (Socket AM5) Processor - Retail
Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX (Socket AM5) DDR5 ATX Motherboard
Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 PC5-41600C40 5200MHz Dual Channel Kit
Corsair RM Series RM650 650W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply (CP-9020194-UK)
Samsung 980 Pro 1TB M.2 2280 PCI-e 4.0 x4 NVMe Solid State Drive

From the old PC I`m going to keep the tower, the Nvidea GeForce GTX 1650 and the Samsung SSD EVO 500GB for backups.

Please give some advices in order to get more for the money, I would like a very nice upgrade future proof with something around £600 to £900.

Many Thanks in advance

Does your photo & video editing use the SSD a lot? If it doesn't, then you could buy a less high-end SSD, like the SN770 (-£37).

For £10 more I would get the Kingston FURY EXPO 5600 kit.

At current prices (£250), then the 7600X makes sense, but if there's much difference where you are, then I'd buy the 7600 non-X.

I assume you are aware that an i5-13500 / B760 build is likely to be much faster for productivity work than the 7600/7600X?

Many thanks for the advice ;)

I don`t do a lot of video and photo editing but I don`t mind to pay a bit extra in order to get a future proof system.

I didn`t have an idea that the i5-13500 / B670 was a much faster system, I`m going to have a look. ;)

Following the tip from Tetras I was come to this config:

Intel i5 13500
MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI
Samsung 980 PRO 1TB
Kingston Fury 5600 DDR5
Corsair RM750e 750W Modular 80+

What do you guy`s think about this config?

Yeah I also like that apart from mobo, not much point going last gen Z series, unless you plan an upgrade to a K series 13xxx cpu in the future? So latest B760 makes more sense with 13500.
The 750W psu is a bit overkill for that efficient system, but leaves you the option if you get into gaming and bung a serious gpu in at some point.

How much is the DDR5 Z690-A? It's more challenging to find a cheap B760 DDR5 board than I thought because they're all DDR4 :o
It cost £209, it`s cheaper then the B760-F Asus ROG

I had the same problem finding a DDR5 board...

I mainly suggested B760 just to avoid flashing the BIOS, the MSI Z690-A is a very solid board and arguably superior to most of the B760 boards. I didn't realise how rare B760 DDR5 boards were.
Yeah just come out, Z690 well over a year old now, usual pricing story.
Changed my mind, go Z690 at that price and update bios.
