PC Upgrade

I have an Arctic Liquid Freezer II in my current rig, but might look to get an AiO with this new build.
What's size ?

The arctic has a thicker radiator than most so fitting at the top of the case clearances need to be checked but at the front will reduce GPU clearance by 11mm as mist aio rads are 27mm.

A quick look the Antec cae has 60mm clearance in the top.

Arctic freezer 3 rad is 38mm and fan 25mm making it 63mm , so 3mm to big if fitting in the top.

WC seems a cool idea, but they aren't serviceable, if they leak or pump fails it's bad.

Plus the VRM fans are noisy, the artic has a tiny little fan.

Thermelright aassisn 120 semis about £40 and zero maintenance

240mm

Better off with an AiO then?
Aio give a clean look rather than a bulky air cooler but there's always pros and cons to both. Both cases allow up to a 360mm in the top which is the best place to put imo , just make sure you check rad thickness usually 27mm and fan thickness 25mm of which aio you get. Or reuse you arctic in the front

It's best to check yourself to concur with me in case something's is missed , I tell this to everyone because website list incorrect specifications .

Manufacturer website and reviews are the best way to check.

My current build gets too hot for my liking (pushes 90 under load).

Hopefully a bigger case will help with airflow and get that down a bit.

I definitely don't want a full WC build. I don't know enough and as you say, too risky. Are AiO too risky?

Maybe case fans are too low? What is air temp from exhaust? If it's hot then not enough airflow through case.
