PC with good sound card better than HiFi's

Have you Bi-Wired these speakers with your Amp?

If so, do you notice any/much difference from having them wired in the conventional way, ie basic connections?

At the moment, I have them wired up with basic connections, but hoping to Bi-Wire them in the next day or so, after I get the same length of the exact same cable again. :)
 
I have got them bi wired but really notice no difference although I really haven't done any heavy tests.

On another note I hate the speaker wire I have it cuts my fingers everytime I go near it and the thought of having to unplug the wires an plug them back in sends a shiver down my spine. :(
