PC wont boot after installing extra drive

and yeah if it says unallocated you will need to in the disk management scren right click on where it says unallocated and click new partition and then you can use the hard drive

The next thing now is the net. Seems to be a prob with the network card.
In device manager it says no driver found for Ethernet controller

Yea, but I'm using a separate network card

oh then you'll need to look for a make and model on the card and then go google the drivers for it

Tried putting network cable into motherboard but it didn't work. Don't even know make and model of card. Think it's old.

Only if the mobo lan(Realtek) driver is installed.

Cheers, it appears to be still a bit iffy. I might get the lan drivers for my motherboard. ARe motherboard lans any better than network cards or are they all the same?

Never used one, so could`nt honestly say. But I would have thought the mobo lan would be better.
