the above is all that needs doing mate and everything should then be fine

what is your motheboard gigabyte z68ap-???
oh then you'll need to look for a make and model on the card and then go google the drivers for it
Tried putting network cable into motherboard but it didn't work. Don't even know make and model of card. Think it's old.
Probably get a new card then..

Cheers, it appears to be still a bit iffy. I might get the lan drivers for my motherboard. ARe motherboard lans any better than network cards or are they all the same?
