As I previously mentioned, the last time I went in there I was pretty much chased around the TV section with a guy trying to sell me Sky Q, even after I told him I already had it, and then trying to sell me an LG OLED TV that I already had after I'd told him I was checking prices as whilst I was in the area I'd see what was on offer for my parents who were looking to go 4K. He just wouldn't shut up, he must have been on some commission basis.
Why didn't you tell him to go away?

This, exactly this.
Absolutely nobody follows me around in a shop, I tell them once and that's it.

Just been in Currys buying a microwave for my Mum, I was approached and I told them I'll find them if I needed anything - simple bloody pimple.

I bought a printer from them last week, it was the cheapest place I could find it and we needed to replace it to print a job application for my wife. Got asked if we needed help but not hounded when we said no. Also it was 10% off online and the girl on the till checked on her phone and gave the discount no hassle. I wouldn't use them much but they were fine for what we wanted. Had a quick look at TVs and that but again no hounding. Guess it depends on the staff in the store at the time.

Well I made it pretty clear I wouldn't be buying anything, and that I just wondered how the prices of 4K had varied since I bought into it.

I was only really in there to kill some time whilst I had some new tyres fitted to my car.

Over the years I've normally built PCs for family/friends but about 3 weeks ago my Dad desperately needed a new PC.
Currys had got a 'must end at midnight' for an i5, 8gb, 120gb SSD, 3TB HD, decent graphics card, built in WiFi and so on with a 3 years guarantee for less than I could source the parts at OCUK.
Every now and then you can drop on but I know it's rare.

(On a sidenote also found out what an amazing piece of software Teamviewer is for all his problems).
