pc's already playing xbone games

So as it stands, I could run Dead Rising 3, RYSE etc. on my PC? Why the hell are they Xbone exclusives then? If they are readily available to work on a PC. God I hope somebody leaks the games onto the seven seas. If I was there, I'd jam a memory stick into the USB and copy some folders. :p

I just love how they are built for PC and ported to the Xbox ONE, yet never get released on PC. Shows how pathetic companies are getting now.

Don't be silly, I doubt the games were running on Windows natively.

The initial 360 dev kits were G5 Mac Pros, that didn't encourage game development for Macs did it?

They aren't "built for PC", they're built on a PC.

Build it on top end PC's and design it for the same hardware in millions of devices vs build it on a top end PC then customise it for millions of different hardware combinations?

It really isn't pathetic for companies to target the largest audience rather than pander to a very small percentage of elitist PC users so they feel justified in spending 1000's of pounds on the latest hardware each year :o

Now that both consoles are x86 it should be possible to rip these games off the discs and make a PC version should it not?

Well this gen, emulation looks pretty damn feasible, so let's beat the cash machines and play them for free, eh. Exclusives are a pain in the arse, I've always felt like they deserve to fail for selling out to nothing but a chunk of cash from Sony or Microsoft.

Yeah, no if you knew much about porting you'd know it isn't that complex at all. You release a game on PC and throw a broad set of coding over Nvidia/AMD/AMD CPU/Intel CPU and they'll mostly work with some optimization for actual Windows itself, any issues can be ironed out with help from AMD/Nvidia in both game patches and driver updates. They make too big of a fuss about how difficult it is to bring games onto the PC to cover their own inadequacies. Plenty of dev studios can port to PC without issue. What this shows is that bringing a game to other platforms is very easy but they accept bribes from the console's creators to make exclusives in order to sell more consoles.

P.S. have you ever heard of a console elitist?

My understanding is they've been running XNA games in this way for a while? Doesn't surprise me really.

Unfortunately though doesn't mean we'll get the Xbox One exclusives on PC because it's really easy to do - but I do see perhaps a scene of intelligent people doing it for the dark side of the internet.

Or just be a normal person and buy a console for the console exclusives.

XB1 cloud will stop these running on PC as its being used to generate game world data & user stats/saves  but yep it would not be hard IF MS wanted to make them on Win 7/8 but MS upper management are so arrogant it would be admitting the PC is superior (and we all know it is!!) so I think this time exclusive really means it sadly :(

I mean they cannot even admit what a failure Win 8 is can they Win 8.1 is just lip service to get more sales

They are exclusive because they are built for that console? Its...logical. Oh no, a company making a product to turn a profit?! Whatever next.
