pc's already playing xbone games

Just ask my friend who works at Codemasters and he said they work on W7 there so I'm not sure what the big deal is with this.

LOL if u zoom in too its using Nvidia cards :\

haha yeah i think thats the surprise, lots of console fanbois getting all hot and bothered about it running on a pc at an xbone demo but its the nvidia card that makes me giggle. Porting was meant to be easier with the new generation of consoles anyway. Nice case too lol.

The whole porting thing is kind of irrelevant though, I thought it was common knowledge that every console game could run on a PC with little effort. Did people think xbox games were actually developed and made on an xbox or something? Exclusives are purely about money, you get a massive contract from Microsoft for an xbox exclusive you're not gonna turn it down.

Definitely strange/stupid that the actual console was not used for demonstration purposes though, unless it's not ready.

People trying to find issues.
Hardly any coporations will have upgraded to 8 yet, most have only just upgraded to 7, it's not a surprise in the slightest they're developing them on win7.

Hardware level physx on display (hence the nvidia cards) to enhance "eye candy" as much as possible?

console games will likely use the new havoc physics instead as it can be accelerated on amd/nvidia gpu's

BTW lol someone got kicked out of a forza event for taking a photo down the back of a locked cabinet :D
they claim the photo was a laptop and a punch of wires lol

Please stop pandering to some pointless rhetoric from companies...

It is as if people forget that Nvidia and ATI/AMDwhatever weren't price fixing a few years ago.

Who's a keyboard warrior?

You. Totally fictional statements of how the industry works. Back it up with quotes or links. Most games start life on the pc if you throw enough hardware grunt at it. Its not always going to run great but its possible. Where I work we have PC versions of all the platforms, it saves time and money.

I'm a keyboard warrior? How exactly do you work that out then, I'm not the one who raves at people on a forum in ways that I wouldn't dare to in reality. :)

Not to mention that it isn't possible to emulate PS3/X360, so who's talking out of their arse now? If you're actually a part of the gaming industry, then it's no wonder you're disagreeing with somebody who states that most of you are about as competent as a monkey with a typewriter, when it comes to anything that isn't a console.

Okay I must imagine it all everyday I'm at work then. Just back up what you're accusing with links and quotes, we won't have a problem then.

Just like to add I'm talking about pre beta/retail builds here.

When has this ever been the biggest concern ? the biggest concern is and has been since 2006 is the inevitable (no pc version or pc version out 1 year after the console releases) and get used to it because the pattern will repeat in this next gen.

All the best games will either have no pc version or be heavily delayed (we all know it's because of pc piracy) really.Don't blame them just wish they'd release on pc but they wont.
