Taylor was consistent throughout the match and MVG just crumbled under the pressure. It just goes to show how strong Taylor is mentally he just refuses to give up and never cracks.

Meh I knew if Taylor won the haters above wouldn't have the decency to acknowledge how well Taylor played. At least Phil has come to terms with his behaviour, apologised to Barney twice and was very humble but as always folk in this country can't wait to start tearing strips off when their champions show that there human.

His behaviour still wasn't acceptable but it's obvious how talented the guy is and how well he played going into the semi only losing 8 or 9 legs.

Just about managed to avoid hearing anything about the darts at a party earlier and back to watch the recording!! Superb work from Taylor but today's subdued MGW's time will definitely come. I can't see a player of his age and calibre not winning the world title more than once.

I was happy to read that Taylor did apologise for what happened last night so he's back in my good books!!

Must admit, I was slightly taken aback by the Taylor hate in here. I thought he was assumed to be a cheeky chappie everyone liked, being only an occasional watcher of darts and all.
