It's on tumblr.com right now, I presume they are happy with this content because reporting it does sweet FA and they actively make reporting anything as insanely difficult as possible.

And what percentage is consensual? My point is that nobody who uses it cares about how or where it came from, but viewing it still makes people complicit in its production.

Hyperbole aside it create no such flaw, and my term was abusive influences, not abuse, people don't fall into this because it was suggested by their careers advisor or their pushy Mother.
My point was that degrading yourself for money requires a certain mindset, one more commonly associated with low self esteem. Yes those that earn a lot are possibly happy, but there is going to be an awful lot of grot made from girls who don't have many options. You can't definitively say these people do this because it's their childhood dream, and the fact that nobody cares anyway makes users morally liable.


Anyway, this is straying off topic.

Yeah that's not who you want in a public inquiry.


the family courts are notoriously bad, bias and dishonest.

She's there to cover stuff up and save the day that's why. You know like those super-experienced retired problem-solvers you see in the movies and they call upon them to do one last job.

Perhaps they don't see it as degrading themselves? You're falling into the trap of thinking that everyone has the same moral code/values as yourself.

Just look at the number of slutty girls posting semi-nude/provocative pictures on the likes of Facebook or sharing them over whatever is the current trendy app (Snapchat at the moment isn't it?)...

If you had quoted the next line then you'd notice that I included the possibility of exceptions.

Dating isn't Porn.
Currently girls offer the possibility of sex and boys display their toys and status. The inequality of this is a result of the superficiality of being online. How would you feel if the roles were reversed?

You haven't really mentioned exceptions - you stated that the ones earning £££ may be happy, but that doesn't preclude the previous statement that they are only doing it because of abusive influences.

To be honest, if I could earn a few ££ by getting my male chicken out, I don't think I'd be particularly unhappy about it... (not that anyone wants to see that! :p).

This sort of relates to the "Twitch girl gamers" thread last week, where girls are getting paid donations (in some cases thousands of $) for posting videos of themselves basically playing games (badly) whilst wearing a low cut top.

Who do you really think is being exploited more, the girl getting paid to pose for a few pictures, or the guy paying to look at those pictures?

I'm fully aware of the fact that there will be some girls who have been forced/coerced into it, but certainly not all of them, and to be honest, you could say the same about almost any industry that doesn't require a huge level of skill/experience - clothing manufacture, food/catering, cleaning, manual labour, you will find both good "employers" and bad ones who exploit their "employees".

Also, don't forget that there are men in porn as well - are they forced into it?

Especially one whose brother was Attorney General in the 1980s, and might have seen (or at the very least would have been aware of) the so-called "lost" dossier.

Very much part of the Establishment, which probably isnt ideal when carrying out an investigation INTO the Establishment.
