Decided to stay in tonight so watched this, having never seen it before.
Pretty good film, may buy it now.

Anyone else watch it this evening/seen it before?
 
Awful film, it's only saving grace is the aircraft scenes and they still managed to mess those up badly.

Dreadful film.

Wish it was actually about Pearl Harbour rather than the Dolittle Raids that followed.

Tora! Tora! Tora! is so much better.
 
I must admit, I'm sometimes a sucker for a good little chick flick, but not Pearl Harbor. The fight scenes, special effects, overall look and feel of the movie are good. However, its ruined by the love story behind it.

Haven't seen it in years though, what channel was it on?
 
I have the 4 discs R1 version with all the trimmings.

Watch it with the commentary, its quite interesting actually, some reason michael bay bought his mother along for it i think.
 
I think: "I guess Pearl Harbour sucks, and I miss you" was a line in a soundtrack for a fairly good reason! :p

I don't know about that, Spice Girls the Movie was pretty dire.

I hate Pearl Harbour for the simple Hollywoodisation of the history behind it. The only historical accurate thing about the film is its context, and the sad thing is I know lots of people who base their knowledge of WWII on such films.
 
God knows who keeps giving Michael Bay money to make movies - I mean... look at his film history...

Some of the most mindless pieces of crap ever put to celluloid....

Oh hell... they've got him do a new Friday 13th film and a remake of The Birds... :(
