Pension provider GDPR breach?

Company I used to work for once sent out letters confirming your individual annual salary only they got the addresses wrong so everyone got a letter with someone else's salary info. That was before GDPR so no idea what the repercussions were other than a lot of people got pay rises to fall in line with their colleagues.
 
They just called and offered me £250 compensation.

I guess the only reason they did they is because I gave all the evidence to the ombudsman.

Better than a kick the arse I suppose, could do with the money as well at the moment, just like most of us right now I guess.
