Pentagon releases UFO footage

So here we have another corroborated account of the events that took place during Commander Fravors alleged UFO sighting.

Of the many people to have spotted or recorded the objects, a handful, like Fravor or Princeton’s (retired) Chief Master-at-Arms Sean Cahill, who reported seeing what appeared to be another grouping of the objects from the missile cruiser’s deck, have spoken to journalists or documentarians. Others have not: Lieutenant Colonel “Cheeks” Kurth, a Marine Hornet squadron commanding officer who was also asked to intercept the Tic Tac, still has not done an on-the-record interview. (Three years after the sighting, however, Kurth did take a job as a program manager at Bigelow Advanced Aerospace Space Studies in Las Vegas, whose owner Robert Bigelow has been a well-known private funder of UFO and paranormal research for decades. It was during this same period that Bigelow became a military contractor working on the Pentagon’s once-secret UFO investigation program, the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.)

Underwood now joins Fravor, Cahill, and others, in speaking about his experience with the Tic Tac. This conversation has been condensed and edited for clarity.

What did you think of Dave Fravor’s appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience?
I’m glad Dave went on Joe’s show. He nailed every detail. At the time of the incident, he was essentially my boss, my commanding officer. I was just a pilot in his squadron. Are you familiar at all with how aircraft-carrier air operations work?

There's no actual evidence there though is there?

I mean my position is really quite simple;

Make claims about weird objects breaking the laws of physics - please provide evidence of claims, which is exactly how it should be.

That’s absolutely fine you can take what ever position you want on the matter. Like I’ve said all along I find this fascinating I believe that what Fravor and all the others are saying is the truth. If you want to dispute that then up to you.

I wanted to avoid the whole alien thing for a good reason because people just go bat crazy on it. We have what we have, he saw what he saw and you can choose to accept it or not. It really doesn’t bother me. I’m glad there is a separate thread if your main interest is to debunk then go over there, I’m interested in discussing with people who have a genuine interest, not those that will do all kinds of mental gymnastics just to “prove” it’s what they think it’s not. Sorry if that’s not acceptable for you.

I'm no expert on this. Just somebody who followed it at the time. Over a period of that time I lost interest because at the end of the day I came to the decision it didn't matter and I didn't care.
Pretty much exactly how I feel. Again I find it extremely interesting and would argue that it is potentially very important, but it does pose more questions than it answers. Like you though I don’t really care about proving the seemingly unprovable to those that find it simply unbelievable.

Maybe they should be asking these questions to the Pentagon or possibly those that said they saw what they saw. I’m not sure if we are capable of answering some of these questions.

Because they could not reach us without faster than light travel, which is impossible.
Is it impossible or is it impossible given our current level of understanding?

A mk10 jet not too long ago would have been impossible given the current level of understanding.

Electricity would have been impossible before it was made possible. So on and so on.

I get why people have trouble understanding what is being said but that does not mean we have to shut down any notion of it purely because in doesn’t seem possible.

We quite clearly do not understand this so its most likely better to say we do not know, rather than it being a conspiracy.

Firstly, I don't think anyone is trying to shut down something because it doesn't seem possible. People are making very bold claims, going on shows with millions of views, and telling people that they've seen things which defy the known laws, things which are totally incredible, without providing any evidence. Therefore it should be expected that people immediately cast doubt - because that's the right thing to do.

The moment people turn up and start making incredible claims, and people just 'accept' by default that they're telling the truth and we don't ask for evidence, or ask serious questions and scrutinise - it sets a very dangerous precedence, because people start believing in any old nonsense.

But this is the big pitfall, just because we can't prove or disprove to a degree of 100% whether something is true or false, somehow means that there's an almost equal possibility of it actually being true, therefore we mustn't rule it out, because we can't prove it's false.

In actual fact, you don't need to prove it as being false to say that it's astronomically unlikely to be true - because that's the truth, it's so unlikely, that it practically can be ruled out, it doesn't have to be proven to be false. We do however, have to reserve in the back of the mind, a place where in future - a wider range of evidence may come in that makes it far more possible, but only until that happens.

EG; Despite the sketchy reports from all over the place, that faith healing works, I don't have to waste time proving that it doesn't work, I just rule it out by default - because it's nonsense, and that's all that needs to be said.
No worries fella were not really going to agree on much so not really much point in going back and forth.

You can disbelieve I’ll remain open minded.

Is it a bird, is it a plane or is it a mk10 jet? That is the real question.

So once we get away from the stigma of the little green men it’s surprising and also interesting the level of dialogue/ideas or theories that can be shared without fear of ridicule.

Keep it up.
