people that make random noises

I went to school with a girl who used to hum when things were quiet and it was a really tuneless drone. Really annoying during exams.

My ginger cat actually makes nom nom nom noises if you give him some fresh meat or fish.
 
I tend to start humming or whistling random tunes at work, when there is a lull in conversation and we're trying to do work ;p
 
I used to work with someone who made noises. She mad a "hm" sound, like when you laugh with your mouth closed. The first time I met her she was doing this in the break room while watching TV about some mugging or stabbing on the news - I thought she was laughing at it!!!! Nutter.
 
I can't say I notice too many people making random noises but there are a fair few people I work with who talk to themselves which can be quite distracting, it's also slightly problematic when I learn to ignore them doing this only to discover at some point they've stopped talking to themselves and actually want to talk to me.
 
I used to have a bad habit of just repeating "huh" very quietly when in thought. Used to drive friends insane. They knew to listen out for it where as most wouldn't hear it at all.

huh huh..... huh.....
 
My mates a guitarist and when he's recording (got earphones on) he makes a short breathy sigh sound all the time and doesn't realise he's doing it until he looks up and we're rolling around laughing.
