People who pass wind in public like it's a life achievement?

Anyone else shocked by some people's lack of inhibition and embarrassment of passing wind in a social situation and then proceed to brag about it like it's a life achievement?

I remember one of the funniest instances of it ever.
My plane in Oslo had caught fire so we'd been redirected to Stavangar. Sat in the airport next to one of my colleagues and this impeccably dressed gent walks straight in front of us, cocks a leg and guffs.
My colleague stops typing. Looks up. Looks at me and asks 'did he just drop his bait?'
We both in unison look at the guy, who looks back at us and winks before proceeding to walk in to the women's toilets.
Cue shouts from various women inside as he siddles out, looks at us again, gives us the thumbs up and disappears in to the gents.

I remember sitting in the Rigger some years ago, this was about ten or eleven o'clock at night, before we staggered down to the Sutherland Arms, so we were already three sheets to the wind. One of the lads, Craig, turned to a girl and said "Go on, pull my finger". Guess he'd had a bit too much to drink and pushed the fart out with a little too much vigour because you can guess what happened next - it was liquid and he was wearing shorts.

This was over 20 years ago, and to this day he is not allowed to forget it.

My best was alone in a lift and letting out a horrendous fart just as it got to the ground floor, as I got out several people were going in...

In my school, the morning assembly invariably degenerated into one big farting competition, on the boys’ side of the hall anyway
Probably reached its zenith when we were 14/15, and then we grew out of it
