My partner used to come to bed with her phone and earphones and listen to murder porn to put her to sleep.
It used to annoy me to no end as even with the earphones I could still hear it!
To add salt to the wound, she would often doze off within 5 mins while I'm lay there struggling to fall asleep and listening to a mumbled voice and the light from the phone shining through my eye lids!

The best is when you think "oh, this is quiet" and crank the volume up
I come across groups of teenagers listening to music (usually some crappy d'n'b or rap) on trains and in kids playparks, it's kind of sad really because the audio is pretty shocking from nearly all mobile phone speakers, at least in the 80s and 90s people were using ghetto blasters or at least tape decks with proper speakers.

I have seen lots of people recently with their phone horizontal on speaker phone. Speaking into the bottom of it. Ffs. Kill me now.

I see this all the time too. I really don't understand where the trend has come from at all.

Same here.. Or out walking the dog and you pass someone with music blaring from their phone but they are holding it horizontally close to his ear.. It's a horrible tinny mess of sound as well, to the point I don't think I'd enjoy listening to it..
Who knows why, is it fear of irradiating their head? Have they doubts due to the 5g scare stories? If it's to look cool then it's a 1/10 from me.
