People working from home and using MS Teams - status changes to 'Away' very quickly...

In my experience, nobody cares about the status indicator. I had someone messaging me for 2 weeks even though my status was set to “Out of office”.

For some reason he never bothered trying to email me, or he’d have seen that I was on annual leave via the auto-response.

I tend to open Teams on my phone periodically if I’m out and about though, so I can check messages etc.

This feature is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 68726.
We will begin the rollout at end of October and expect it to be complete by mid-November."

Job done. (Or not done, to be more accurate.)
