I actually always prefered ISS 2's freekick and corner system, my ideal football game would be PES's gameplay, ISS'2s setpieces and FIFA;s polish and licences, probably combined with Football Managers database of players and teams

Once the first one goes in and you master the technique you should be able to take every free kick and feel pretty confident that you have a good chance of scoring.

It just takes practice that's all.

Didn't that use a power bar system?

Using the power bar system is just a cop out imo and makes it too easy to score.

Maybe i'm biased given that I have no problem with the free kicks in pro evo, but in terms of relative difficulty and shot success ratio (in comparison to real football), the pro evo system is the best i've ever known.

The one thing that stands out for for pro evo that I do enjoy other fifa is just the actions and movements of the players as they shoot and collide etc. It's always entertaining watching the players push each other and the way the position the body as they shoot

Well played Anders0n.

Don't know how I won the first game 5-3 when I was 3-2 down in the 87th minute, but at the same time I don't know how I let a 2-0 lead slip in the same game, can't excuse the terrible defending. The Gerrard goal that looked like being the winner was superb tho.

Second time I don't know what was up with me, I did feel the ref was giving me absolutely nothing (but then again don't all losers say that?). Some awful defending again, I should probably start actually playing the game again before I try to take on decent players.

Looking at the shots stats after the game tho, they were 22 to 6 in your favour, so I can't argue your 3-1 win was deserved.

Thanks for the games tonight mate. When my player was sent off in the first, it was fully unintentional. I ment to press Y but my finger sliped and pressed X. From that point on I was playing like a joke. Threw the game away. Although when gerrard put that beauty in the top corner to make it 3-2 at 83 mins I thought I had it in the bag. But I wasn't expecting you to score 3 goals in the remaining 7 minutes! :eek:

Second game I felt I played a lot better. Dominating the first half and then you go and manage to put you only oppertunity of the half away. But I managed the equalise straight after.

Had you not made those defensive mistakes late on I think we would have gone into ET.

Again, good games and I can't wait for our decider.

Dominating the whole game to be fair, I don't know what was wrong with me. I don't play the game much now and haven't played for a while but I don't use that as an excuse.

Your 2 winners were from pathetic mistakes by me, but the game as a whole was poor from me so again I don't use them as excuses.

The decider should be good, I don't think i'll be so generous next time tho.

Hehe. Definitely not playing it at the San Siro. The pitch was way to slow. Don't know why I even chose it.

Was gutted when I had that player sent off. I've been playing this game a lot over the past few days and I've rarely even been booked. Initially I just moved Terry into the centre and brought the 2 wingers in abit to make up for the loss, but straight away you just walked through everyone and scored to make it 2 nil.

I then took lampard off for Carra, evened the defence out again and just put Gerrard in the centre on his own. Needless to say it worked with me scoring 3 goals in the next 15 minutes. God knows how I managed to throw it away though. You scoring 3 goals in a mtter of minutes. I was sat there stunned!

Yeah but i liked how depending on where the power bar finished depended on how much it curled, better players and a larger gap for erro and could curl it more. It may be easier to use but it was simple and much more enjoyable IMO
