The day you believe the hype that the devepolers say about the improvement with the new version will have over the previous version is the day to worry about yourself.

The PES developers are chronic liars.

I really don't understand how people have praised this version.

It is slightly better than '09, but considering how bad '09 was it doesn't mean much.

The collision detection is still mediocre, the a.i. in BAL legend mode is still mediocre, the new alleged 360 movement doesn't make much difference, the tempo is still too fast and the glitches, oh god, the glitches.

It's like they've only spent a month improving the game since '09.

Why is the tempo too fast I always thought it was too slow.
 
What was so bad about 09? It's the best offline PES i've played - online though, the weird defending ruined it, although patches seem to have fixed that (after i quit).

The tempo is fine, why would you want it slower? Games of PES don't last 90 mins, there's no need for it to be slowed down.
 
I ordered this yesterday, should *post allowing* get it tomorrow. Is there enough interest in this game to start an "Official" thread, start a mini league or something?
 
konami will have to release a patch,to make the game more playable,I think it's badly coded! to stuttering but still at 60hz but i have to force v-sync ON to make it playable.
 
Really that bad? I played the demo, runs fine without any glitches. Lets hope they have one in the works.
 
PES2010 is too slow and has tried to bcome half a management game too.

This from a PES fan boy as well.

The online play is fixed at last. Were talking PES 6 type online play.

Although it is possible that players with different CPU's (Intel Vs AMD) are causing disconnects.
 
I'm still waiting for the damn game to arrive. Curse you Royal Mail *waves fist frantically*

Is there a downloadable patch for the online play fix?
 
Is the online truly fixed ?
Is group play back ?
No warping at all ?
No bad keeper Ai ?
 
I've not played online yet. I went online once but found it impossible to get a game.

I'm really enjoying the game though, it's defiantly a step forward.
 
I find it a big improvement over 09. Online play seems pretty good to me though I do seem to get about a 1 in 3 failure to connect.

I'd also be up for a mini league.
 
game is not good to be honest, about the least fluid gameplay ever, if you pass to someone they sometimes take like a second to move after they have the ball, and i beat the champs league on top player first go, dont think ill be playing this one much more, might check out fifa, played it on ps3 and its much better imo.

ps: im usually a pes player also, not fifa
