******* PES 2016 *******

Really looking forward to the demo for this. Will it be available earlier on other store regions?

really have high hopes for this now, it looks great.

Quite looking forward to starting from scratch skill wise, as I kind of feel I've plateaued on fifa.

If I loose on PES, and it's my skill that's caused me to loose, I'll be happy, as opposed to random spawnyness

Not liking the demo much. Game still has the same flaws as the last. Sluggish players, weird animations and I absolutely hate the replay system.

I enjoyed it. The only issues I have are the goalies are still poor and doing skill moves isn't as fluid as Fifa.

First impressions and I'm not sure I like this as much as PES 15 demo. Need to spend more time with it tbh as apart from the fundamentals I really haven't learnt much of the skills and other tricks PES has (manual passing)

Very rusty as haven't played a footy game this year at all

Do like the new interceptions especially when the goalie palms the ball out. Feels easier to pass/shoot for some reason

Not sure if I like it, the goalies are an improvement on the last PES I played but still manage to be awful, any player can pass like Xavi, even defenders, and any player can score from range but I'm not sure whether that's down to the keepers being dog turd. Any player can make interceptions and can tackle just as well as the defenders in the team. It just feels like I'm playing with 10 identical outfield players.

The dribbling is an improvement but it's still not as natural or fluid as FIFA. If you dribble in a straight line at the default speed you can see the ball and player sort of jerking to a stop before starting running again, it's really disjointed. Also the players still can't seem to sprint properly, it looks like they're running in mud, their legs and arms all move incredibly fast but they don't actually seem to be running quickly at all.

Cancelled my preorder.

Interesting, what level you playing at, btw ?

Professional difficulty. The keepers make better reactionary saves from corners and are better at attempting to save rebounds but they rarely seem to make the save and are absolutely useless from placed shots inside and on the edge of the box.

OK getting into this more - getting my head slightly around the skill system and the animations are sometimes incredible (seeing some things never gets old at the moment). The ball doesn't feel as tethered to your feet as the last PES or any FIFA so means up close its easy to lose the ball. It also means you can do a few skills where you go one way and the ball the other without any real loss of possession.

Passing seems to be more accurate than before, but thankfully it doesn't have that FIFA annoyance where it decides what you meant rather than your input - means you can play delicate air balls. Shooting seems off unsure why, just seems to go like a bullet whatever you do.

I still find with PES that you aren't that well equipped to pass a man one-on-one so end up passing around them - be nice to see that a bit more balanced for some players that want that (maybe some more control on the ball at low pace so you can invite tackles in).

Running animation has this wierd birdman thing, the ball moves fine compared to last gen PES.

Goalies I haven't really tested as trying things out, its hard to tell if they are gonna save some shots and then other times they do some amazing double saves. I guess they are just too inconsistent from what I've seen.

Still prefer PES15 demo but unsure why. Not a fan of the ball hitting sounds...

Btw guys deffo change to advanced shooting as makes it far better over basic. Seems to have been improved over that setting from last year.

Really enjoying it so far, need to up the settings as I smashed Roma 4-0 as Juve. Just like every other PES I've played, I feel like I have to work really hard to earn chances. Also need to tweet the passing/shooting settings as it was a little too easy. I'm sold, PES 2016 is my go to football game this year, not that sad to leave FIFA 15 behind.

I am quite surprised I am really enjoying this it far from perfect but you can see the ground foundations are finally coming along.

I reckon next year this game will blow Fifa out the park this is without doubt best PES since Playstation 2 era.
