I wouldn't be quite so sure about that. I was flicking through the channels over Christmas and caught some of one of those terrible 'bad behaviour of the decade' type documentaries on Channel 4 (I think), the host of the TV show where Doherty sprayed blood at the camera was definitely protesting shock at the antics - it could be he was trying to extend his 15 minutes of fame though.
For whatever it matters, I'm not really a fan of Doherty as a person or of his music because it just doesn't appeal but nor do I care about him or what he is doing if he isn't hurting other people by it.
