i return about 20mpg (probably less than more) off the lpg, mostly motorway with a bit of stop start

and well, petrol, never driven for long enough to be worth calculating

BMW 525 SOHC engine, how much of that is my right foot (probably a big factor, im one of those 80mph having to slow down cos of slow overtaker types), how much the gas, and how much the engine? would be fun to know what i should really be getting

My 530d on my trips to work and back which is about 10 miles each way i get 29-30 mpg. Motorway journeys vary quite a bit if the cars empty and im not speeding along then 40-50 is quite acheivable although if its loaded up and im speeding along then it drops to 33-38mpg depending on speed.

2litre @ In warm weather 39-40MPG on the daily commute but this season I've been getting 36~MPG so around 450-500 miles to a tank.

Pretty much get ~47-49mpg over 200miles from my Ibiza PD130 diesel, thats a mix of stop-start town and A-roads... Most i've seen is 72.4mpg average, when stuck behind a lorry at 55 for miles on end!

Last tank on the TT returned 19.7mpg, currently showing 14mpg on this tank.

Not all that bothered to be honest, I don't do more than about 8k per year so the difference between driving a 3.2l and a 1l Yaris isn't worth worrying about.

Depreciation probably costs more than petrol, maybe we should start a thread about how much your car costs per month in depreciaton.

That's bloody terrible, is the car an auto?

Used to have a previous shape Accord 2.0 ES SSS Auto and I used to get around 260 from the tank but that is hooning it around. With my current car which is the current shape Accord 2.4 Type-s manual I get around 280, again with a heavy right foot :)

No, a Manual. I'm putting it in for a service, hopefully it will improve things...

I got 400 miles out of my last tank, but that included a 230 mile round trip to Manchester, with a good 10-15 miles stuck in traffic on the way there, and carrying an extra 100kg in the back on the way home.

A3 2.0T

I probably average about 300 miles from a tank in a normal week though, lots of 10 mile journeys to work, town and NSL roads

Managed to do 165 miles to 20L of fuel and 260miles to 35L the other day in the s2000, first one was all motorway and the second was mixed but pretty impressed with the economy.

Ask me in 250 miles. Been measuring since the last fill up.

It scored ~30mpg (some motorway, some town, some B roads) before I replaced the lambda sensor.
