As I said, getting to work is progressive. Ask any of the golf owners with a 1.6, you have to give it some to get going and also it has poor MPG anyways.
So why have it![]()

Gotta keep it for insurance purposes... I will be changing in January to something which would at least give performance for that MPG
According to parkers:
General
Weight 1167 kg
Fuel Delivery Multi point fuel injection
Transmission Manual
Gears 5 Speed
Engine Size 1598 cc
Cylinders 4
0-60 mph 10.5 s
Power Output 105 bhp
Valves 16
Torque 148 Nm 109 lb-ft
Top Speed 119 mph
MPG 39
CO2 Emissions 170 g/km
Road Tax Band E
Wheelbase 2511 mm
Fuel Capacity 55 L
Unbraked Towing Weight 600 kg
Braked Towing Weight 1200 kg
Madness with those specs :/

Odd. That's only about 100 kilos heavier than mine. Although I make just 98BHP.
The Highest price in this area: 114.9p
The Average price in this area: 109.7p
The Lowest price in this area: 106.9p

The same guy that predicted $120 a barrel by this time a few years back has now predicted $200 a barrel within the next 2 years.
What you talking about they were right, oil has passed $100 and now $120 a barrel as predicted. Seems pretty consistent to me.
