Petrol tanker drivers to go on strike

06:30AM, A41, Tipton, West Midlands, Queue of morons causing a blockage on the A41, yes, you guessed it, all waiting for the Morrisons fuel station.

Lemmings who, I assume, don't watch the news nor read papers, if there is to be a strike, it won't be for at least a week!

I very much doubt the strike would go ahead anyway.

We were down to 2 pumps (out of ten) of diesel and the same of unleaded for about twenty minutes (and he was sat in the queue trying to get into the site for more than that) last night until our tanker arrived, they'll be dry again by now I expect and as of midnight there was no new delivery scheduled yet, or rather we had not been notified of one. Took two days of panic buying to dry the site out. On the other hand if you are happy to use Ultimate diesel or can use autogas you're good to go, those tanks were still 90% full.

There is an at pump shortage now due to the infrastructure not being able to keep up with the demand as far as I can see, not sure how long it will last though as I've no idea how long it'll take for all the lemmings to top their cars off and go home and sit on it for a month.

Feel so bad for all the people who genuinely needed their fuel and had to queue for so long to get it :(

I'm on the early shift this week so get to the station just after 5 am. I couldn't get my car into the station car park as idiots queuing for petrol were blocking the entrance! Its the middle of the night - go to bed, idiots!

Oh god. I'm stuck in High Wycombe for a whole weekend because the queues at the petrol stations are ridiculous. This will be the second weekend I've had to stay here since I moved 6 months ago. The last time I nearly went insane, this time could be worse.

All we need is an alcohol shortage now. Better fill a jerry can just in case.

Didn't you know... all fuel is going to run out that means delivery lorries won't be able to get food to supermarkets!0!0!0!011 Get there quickly and fill your boot with as much canned food as you can!!!!!!!!

Hear-say but a friend of mine was talking to me and said some pleb infront of him filled about 5 jerry cans. At first i thought, yea right. But watching the news i can belive it now.

Wierdly Oxfordshire seems fine over the last few days. The BP at Benson has had no real queues when driviing past and its still 139.9 for UL this morning.

Some panic buying in B'ham yesterday - oddly enough people queueing for Shell/Texaco/BP etc but the smaller Petrol Stations virtually empty - I had 15 miles left so took the opportunity to brim it, no queues no waiting but £91, ouch.

Mrs car was on vapours yesterday and she couldn't get any anywhere during the day so she went out at 10pm last night to get £25 in which will last her a week.

Anyone else thinking the film Mad Max is a prophecy?
