PGA Tour 2K21

Really really struggling with tempo. Doing exactly the same thing each time but either getting too fast or very slow.

Maybe drop a skill level. May also be worth trying the swing calibration under main menu > training.

For putting, you can afford to be really slow and gentle with your backswing.

Why do they have to be officially licenced? Some of the best courses I've played are user created ones that are amazing replicas courses of real ones.

As for the offline season, no idea, I normally play on the online societies like TGCTours or Inglorious ******** but think it'll be enough to get a decent amount of time into, sponsors challenges and difficulty settings.

It's overpriced tbh, not worth more than £30 and I have over 1000 hours in the previous 3 but it's a decent game with solid ganeplayso far.

So that's over 300 hours on each and you think that's only worth £30?

10p per hour of entertainment sounds like an absolute bargain to me.

While 2k21 is indeed a lot more polished and wholesome than TGC19, I do have to agree with this post somewhat. £50 for this game is massively overpriced, that's not to say its a bad game though. They've priced it there because it's a niche market, they know video golfers will purchase it regardless, what competition have they got.

I am absolutely loving it BTW.

£38 on CD keys. Well worth that. Especially for anyone who didn't buy TGC 2019.

Another thing I've started to notice with the tempo, is I find it much easier to hit near the middle if I'm watching the club at the top of the backswing. Do this with a practice shot over and over and as the controller vibrates and you swing forward, you will start to notice slight variations with the movement at the top that give you very fast, very slow or near the middle, fast, perfect, slow.

Yep. Best getting the power bar turned off and learning to look at the player and feel the vibration on the controller instead.

Yeah, can be a bit finicky on the XBox sometimes as well , had a few random freezes in online games.

What level do you play on - I've just moved up to pro and the difficulty is insane compared to amateur. To help I've bought the most forgiving clubs I can but timing can be hit and miss and keeping it in the swing plane can be a struggle.

Definitely more of a challenge - on the easier settings was often getting -15 to -18 on a round, but best I've had on pro is -5 and not managed to win a tournament in career mode yet on pro setting (whereas on the easier modes it was pretty much a given I'd come first, so in reality pretty unrealistic).

Pro-Am is what I usually play on as Pro gets pretty tricky after a few beers.

Hi all, just wanted to see how people are enjoying this game. I used to play the Tiger Woods series, so it's about time I got a new golf game, and I see we can pick this up for about 15 euro now for the basic version. Do you need the premium version?

The premium just has additional cosmetic nonsense as far as I'm aware.
