Has anyone got one of these phanteks 400a rgb cases off ocuk wondering what your opinions on them are and what the good and bad points are, would you recommend one

I've got one in white just waiting on my gpu to come so I can finish my build, got it because of the good review from gamersnexus and few other reviews and forum posts.

So can't say from experience if it's any good airflow wise but it's meant to be good, the build quality is good better then the last case I had but that was 11 years ago lol.

Do OcUK sell this model?

Think they are just listed as P400 Air? (although the front panels for existing cases are listed as P400A)

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £302.49 (includes shipping: £33.54)

Cheers thank you all.

I've been on the cusp of purchasing the H500M for the last few days but this is a good amount cheaper.

I looked at the NZXT H710 but thought it was more style over substance.

Would be nice if the same DRGB fans were available separately from OcUK. Often want to spec it but end up speccing the non-DRGB version (or different case) so it can be filled with other all-matching RGB fans (rear, CPU cooler fan replacement, maybe a top fan). I get it that three fans at the front is enough for airflow but when it comes to looks RGB lovers often want more than that, especially with glass side panel showing the interior. Just a thought.

Yea would have been nice if overclockers did the fans, only place I've found them in on the jungle ordered a couple but I mite only use one 1 as a rear exhaust for now.

They will be available eventually, no ETA as of yet though.

I watched the GN review for this case. I wouldn't say it was a 'glowing' recommendation.

Not a great review here either:

Does any case get a glowing review from GN :p.
But it did get the best out of the box thermals in the GN best cases of 2019.

All I know is my thermals seem to be ok with this case stock and it pretty much silent.

Cool. So you actually own one and happy with it? It's a good £70 quid cheaper compared to something else I've been eyeing up.

Yea I've got a white p400 air drgb, and I'm more then happy with it, got a rx 590 which is meant to be hot and loud but I can't hear mine unless I put my head next to the case and I've not seen it go above 75°c and that's overclocked while benchmarking, at stock it sits around 62-65°c.

Crap. I was really warming to the idea of buying the Phanteks P400 but CPU cooler wise it has clearance for 160mm. My Noctua NH D14 is 160mm in height so probably wont fit.

---

Well actually I found this and Noctua reckon it is compatible. But do they mean it will be right up and touching the glass?

And apparently the d15 is compatible according to noctua and that's 165mm high with the front fan but you mite have too put the front fan on the back with the D15, which will makes it 160mm tall

Seen posts on here and reddit etc that people are using both the D14 and D15 with the p400.
