I think they look great and the RGB functionality that is compatible with most of the RGB motherboards on the market means you can literally RGB all the things!

Do people really like to light up their pc like a fairground these days? RGB this, RGB that, I think it looks awful and just adds to the cost.

It has kicked off a little this year with a lot of manufacturers going RGB but people seem to like it. Suppose people just like the option of changing the colour with ease every so often.

They planning to come out with any AIO's?

The thing what people do who want that, is take a Dremel to modify the Corsair HG10. And cut a bit out. For the 1080/1070s the 980ti from last years already almost fits.

Then you can fit whatever AIO(s) to your GPU(s).

This always... let the loop colour be the main focus!

Not flashing blue, green, purple, orange, yellow.... :p

Like below, ruins a loop!

Yeah I'm not keen on having any light apart from white inside a rig as white nicely highlights your interior whereas coloured lights bleach everything out.

White light with coloured coolant looks the bees knees IMO :)

It doesn't look awful, you just dislike it. The thing that most people miss when it comes to rgb lighting is that you can match the colour to what you want, rather than just rainbow cycling, and it gives you better options for different shades of white as well.

As for additional cost, RGB LEDs and controllers are actually really quite cheap as they are being used a lot.

The ability to have a choice of whites really is probably the most important part of RBG lighting. RGB bulbs for house lighting for example are great because you can very easily change the colour temperature throughout the day which is much better for eye strain.

Cool/blue white lighting is more suitable for day time light when the sun is up, whereas warm white lighting is better for when the sun has gone down, and you need RGB lights for that.
