Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV.

Cant wait to get this case, some great looking builds so far.

Just waiting on a response from Phanteks to see whether or not there dual 2.5" bracket fits in this case. Once they reply I can hit the order button :D

Planning on doing a custom loop in the case and hope to get a project log started on this soon ;)

I looked into this, as I wanted to do the same. According to the website it is not supported. The 2nd SSD is level with the side of the case. Might try double side tape when my 2nd bracket arrives.

It be good to know your plans for the loop, I want to do the same but never done one.

Damn, that's what I was afraid of (Phanteks also just confirmed), ah well.

I'm planning to do a single loop, with CPU and GPU, with a 240mm in the front and a 120mm at top. Plans may change though once I actually get my hands on the case and take a close look. Things look like they could be a bit of a tight fit!

I would say you can go 240 top as well, 3cm from bottom fan to the side fan and that that with a 280mm rad.

I have a feeling you can fit a 280mm in the front by cutting the floor abit. my X60 would almost fit in the front.

Yep all fans are now 140mm Corsair air flow apart from 1 NZXT stock fan.

I have them all connected up to the fan hub, that is not powered SATA just motherboard. Motherboard is set to 400RPM I think . it is about 35dB. Most of the noise from the x60 pump.

CPU idle is 32c 3770k @ 4.8ghz
Stock MSI 970 idle 37c with no fans on

I tested by using the NZXT x60 to control all the fans with the drop down resisters and the H440 fan hub, both too loud. I should have tested with my sp120 but didn't

The stock 140mm is louder than the 200mm, Tested it from a fan header off the x60.

I spent 20 hours building and testing, Overall the noise is same as H440 with a few tweaks.

Hope this helps.
Great, thanks for that. How are the temps compared to your H440?

I cant give a fair result as I found that the CPU thermal paste didn't have full contact with the cooler. The Elvolv has had lower temps than I had in H440.

But overall I can feel the air flow better now. the exhaust have air coming out of them now.

The front has about a small finger gap around the whole edge. Massive improvement over H440.

Can't believe the quality of this thing for the price. It's amazing:eek:

That BeQuiet cooler is a beast inside the case, does it fit comfortably?

The bits i bought off you are for a build in this case. Going to be 4-6 weeks before I have all the parts though.

Its a top quality case though. I opened mine up just to strip all the bits I wont be using and was suprised how well made it is for the price. Ive had quite a few lian-lis and this thing feels just as good, if not better.

My plan is single loop GPU, ram and CPU with two 240mm rads. Would like to go sli if a card and block comes up at the right time.

Oh what a coincidence :D

I'm looking do a build on this case as well, but it's gonna be this summer ;)

There must be some watercooled builds around on forums somewhere, the case comes with a mounting bracket for a pump with vibration damping...

I fitted the dark rock pro 3 as well. This was my first build, and I think I ought to have picked something a little easier! The cooler is bolted down by tightening nuts on the processor side of the motherboard. My mobo is an Asrock X99m ex4, and there is *no* room to get the damn nuts over the bolts and tighten them down - I had to get a pair of cocktail sticks, slide the nut down on onto the top of the fixing bolt and use the second to try and fit it a bit before spending an age tightening the screws with the useless spanner that bequiet include. Definitely the best looking cooler, but I would pick Noctua next time due to the hassle!

....also, never buy an asrock board. Mine has an old bios and won't even POST with my OCUK KFA2 970s. Having to find an old card, hope it posts, flash new bios, hope everything then works. 0/10.

Got a Phanteks PH-TC14PE in red today. Decided not to watercool due to cost, my build wont be as handsome as I hoped but it should fulfill my number one target; very low noise. I looked at the Dark Rock Pro 3 but the mounting was reported to be a pain plus the Shadow Rock wasn't that great for installation so I decided to avoid BeQuiet coolers until they resove that particuar issue.
Bought 2 x PH-F14MP's for the heatsink to ensure I get good airflow through the fins. Using the red and white fans on the front of the case, although I'm not sure the aesthetic is working too well.

I think the white Evolv would look better with a white interior as the black does tend to clash too much.

Sorry m8 misread it.

Could always do what ive done get external usb dvd drive for when i need it dont have a dvd installed in my pc.
