I was in the same position. Eventually went with the black despite having a white Superflower Leadex 1000W PSU....which looks quite nice in it!

The photos of the white do look impressive.

It is a massive case, so I guess black hides its proportions a little better than white would :D

I was thinking the same, but im still not sure, Im assuming the black would look a little more like brushed metal, but i've not had a white case and it looks good, its also different from what most people will have.
 
None at all, I was in the same boat, haven't upgraded my wc system for around 6 years, creeping on 7, and this seems the best case, but it's about a year old , so didn't want to get this and find out they made a v2 a few months later
 
I dont think they will update it any time soon unlike big companys ( corsair )
why change something that works. even coolermaster waits a few years before updating the top end case (cosmos)
 
The only new versions are known as the special editions. Built exactly the same as the black and white, but different colours. Red and black, orange and black and black and white. Shot of the latter two from this years CES.

 
Sorry no idea tbh, phanteks do seem to take a little bit more time getting products released. The luxe and pro cases were announced at CES too, but the latter is only starting to appear now. One other rumoured change to the primo is a slimmer reservoir bracket, the current one can clash with some longer gpu's, (see my post with pics above). Though its still not clear if this will be incorporated into the special editions. Im hoping it does appear myself as im loathed to cut the one i have.
 
Dam got a small problem ive just took the case out of the box and there is a black mark on the top panel on the window side its not that bad,camera is on charge so ill put a picky up and see what you think.
