Case arrived today, along with 4790k, Gigabyte Gaming 3 and 16gb of Kingston ddr3. £500 altogether. Unfortunately I still have a high bid on a Gaming 5 and a further 16gb running so might end up with another upgrade. Plan is to replicate/improve my previous Waterloop at some point but for now it will just be housing an h80i and two 680 gtx. I actually managed to obtain an EK waterblock for one of the 680s for £30 :)

All the second hand gear works perfectly well (although the Gigabyte UEFI is horrific compared to my Maximus VII) and it is all fitted under an H80i in the new case :)

I wish phanteks would offer a tempered glass upgrade for this case as no one else makes one quite as good. It all looks a little lost behind the smoked acrylic panel.

Love that tube routing at the top. Wish I had enough room behind the backplane to route there but I have fan cables out the wazoo .

The red / black build is still a work in progress- I have a stack of 12 140mm fans and new copper/plexi waterblock for both my and Mrs machine and a second xspc 270 pump res combo waiting. Just need radiators and fittings.

im wondering the same, looking to start a new build soon. Was either this or the D900

I've had the 900d for a while - great case but I'm actually looking at a Primo for my next build. I know it's a few years old now but the looks appeal to me and the cost of the Elite seems a bit excessive. (it is a gorgeous looking case though.)

If you go the 900d route be sure to check out Coldzero for accessories if that's your sort of thing. - midplate, motherboard plate cover etc.

Just a brief update - the red build I said I was working on is still happening, just very slowly! 680s have been upgraded to 1080s and the radiators are due to arrive tomorrow.

If you want better watercooling performance I’m getting rid of my XSPC Block in the next week, which performs about 8-10c cooler than the Ek block

Can you guys help me?

I was just about to order either a 360mm or 480mm rad for the bottom of the case but I've just had a quick check and I can barely fit a 120mm fan in the gap between the back plate and the bar at the front, will this case take an XSPC RX360 or RX480, the specs claim it's 130mm wide?

Found a really helpful picture on another forum that shows what will work. Good job I found it before ordering another XSPC RX radiator, the 360mm & 480mm wouldn't fit at the bottom, so I bought 2 x 240mm Mayhem's radiators instead :D
