How much clearance above Primo do you have? I'm also playing with a caster design that will only raise case about 35mm. Won't know for sure until I get my case.

it's not the clearance above, it's the fact once the case is in the room, there's no where for it to slide.. Just gonna have to start lifting more so I can just pick it up

So your case will be setting out in the open all the time? Could still use caster base to give better airflow.

And besides, would help me get H2O :D

Got my interest - care to share :)

Came up with these renditions of what 4x 40mm & 6x 40mm caster bases will look like on base. What I'm making will look very similar; no caster brake and the bottom lip of case will be about twice as thick with the added 9mm base castors will be mounted on. Think I prefer the 6x caster.. not because case needs them. Just looks mo betta. :D

I'll try and do a rendition with the 9mm base and without brakes on casters.

Thanks - I prefer/would like the 6x version :)

Enthoo Primo with 9mm base and 6x 40 mm casters I scaled the castors as close to 40mm as I can. Sorry.
I don't have a side view of case with cover on or would use it for these renditions. :(

Scotty you planning something bud? Looking forward to seeing some nice builds as everyone seemed to jump ship and go with the new Parvum atx cases

With regard to the height added by casters, could you do a low loader style base and have the casters mounted on the outside rather than underneath?

I think an 18 wheel low loader would like awesome :D

Do you mean on front and back? Can build it but if on front and back makes it about 92cm long.

8x swivel castors would be about 92cm long; fixed castors about 86cm

With 4x castors base would be about 80cm long; fixed castors about 74cm

Could be made shorter with fixed castors.

I rather like the back casters fixed. Makes it easier to roll in / out.. But I do prefer swivels on front.

Swivel front and back with fixed middle would probably be very nice. Will test it out when case arrives. ;)

the front of single could have 3x, 4x casters side by side across the front. Might look good.

Haha, I was just curious as to what it would look like, I was actually thinking along the sides but that bogie style looks pretty cool. The low loader style would never be as space efficient as just having them underneath but it does look pretty cool.

I agree fixed at the back swivel on the front is the way to do casters, means you can steer it easier, all swivel can be a right pain sometimes.

The fixed middles sound pretty interesting.
