its here, it unlocked :D, currently running p95 at stock clocks to verify, although temp probes are buggered. Not particularly fussed cos i can get a close enough reading from the mb. Apparently the cores idle at 10.C and load at -256.C. Maybe i should drop k1ngp1n a line...

just a little yes, my 550 could do 3.8ghz on 64 bit win 7, the 555,s do 3.9ghz.

ive just bought a 955 and a 965 , both c3 steppings, the 955 is better than the 965, the 955 seems to do 4ghz.

Funny because the 965 is very very new week 03 !

The only difference is that the x4's are the cream of the crop, they seem to hit 3.9ghz with lower volts than the x2's unlocked

i gotta problem :S
unlock is perfectly stable (never got round to overclocking), but see if you can spot it:

ive casually slipped this problem in with a few other niggles to foxconn support, as "core unlocking is not officially supported by AMD" etc. etc. (i tried them with the sempron...), but i doubt they'll tell me anything

i cant get it to boot whatsoever (blank screen) with HT multi bigger than 5x (1000mhz) tried throwing a fair few volts at both HT link and CPU, but nothing. like i said, i never got round to overclocking to see if it works that way. may attempt it at some point ... when i can be bothered ...

sticking to dual core atm, as the only foxconn bios that unlocks is the very first release, and will 1000mhz HT bottleneck a quad?
