My experience since owning it for two weeks now. It looks better than X1, it feels better on the head. But the truth is I not sure what is better than the X1 it just sounds the same to me, maybe the bass does sound a little better. It could just be my not very experienced with reviewing headphones etc

Not one bit disappointed with buying them though, I now have my X1 for bed or chilling around the house listening and my X2 for PC.

Cable made no difference to the X1 everyone is just making up that they can hear a difference because people emasured the resistance of the stock cable and yes I have tested this myself.

As for x1 Vs X2. Let's say I sold my x1s. The x1s are more bassy happy, bouncy in that area and a fun headphone but the X2 is better in everyway. The X2 sounds like the whole EQ band is lifted up, bass is much more precise and tight.
Treble detail is also better. I forget now which has a wider soundstage but regardless the X2 are fantastic in gaming for positioning sounds and players etc

My X1 pads felt like actual memory foam my x2s do not and are not quite as comfortable which is a shame
