Nice Tenoner, havnt seen one like that since 1985\6.
I wouldnt take any pics of the machines I run, an SCM 110AL doesnt seem that exciting or photogenic in its off white livery
yeah the tenoner is a real work horse. they dont make then like that any more.
got a pic of an scm we have to, but your right new machines dont have the same charm as old ones.
Can't beat going down on the Hoe.

This one. First photo I put up here for any real critism, got told it was lacking in pretty much every area. Learnt a huge amount from comments in the thread. Hopefully will be taking some good photos in 2009

that's the top of Cat Skinner chair on blackcomb that goes over the XL park and was taken march-ish last winter. The tower that partially collapsed this week is one right at the bottom of the excalibur gondola as it passes over the bus exchange.

This is one of my favorites from this year.
I've got several photos which I love from this year, but this one is my overall fave:
One of the main things i've learned to do much better this year, is "Work the subject" instead of just taking pictures and hoping.. I spent the best part of 3-4 hours following this Stag around concentrating on his every move. Then all the elements of a great shot come together, pose, backlight and water spray all in around 2-3 seconds... then it was gone..

I would post one of mine but I've lost the cable from my camera to my PC, but it would be a picture of a snow covered Mount St. Helens. with Mt Rainier in the background.

This is pretty much all I've been doing all year. Although not me playing, it is my guitar as one of the supporting bands guitarists was without his (singer was supposed to bring it and didn't or something) so I leant him mine.

I would choose this one, because it covers many things that have happened this year. I've moved back near the sea, ive climbed up things, stood on many derelict floors and also got together with my beautiful girlfriend

It was the money shot for my Final Major Project at Uni.
I built the letters out of slate and found the location on Bodmin Moor. It was one of those shots where the weather/light/composition and subject seemed to fit 'just right'.
Since starting my new job I've been neglecting the photography section a bit - I've just been a bit busy settling into a new town etc etc and just haven't found the time to get out and shoot.
