This shot of a wild mountain Gorilla was taken in Bwindi National Park at the end of 14 days Safari through Kenya and Uganda.
The trip also marked the end of one job, and on my return, the starting of a new role and change of direction.

My year could probably be summed up by...
A lack of any photos. It has been a year of great change and being busy for me, but im starting to get on top of it so hopefully the photos will start flowing again soon. I have moved in with the GF, she got a new job, and finished her Masters, I got a new job and have already learnt loads from it. So overall it has been a pretty good year. Hopefully 2009 will allow me to step up the photography, and as I am also going to be in charge of most of the photography equipment at work I should have plenty of opportunity to use Medium and Large format cameras, large format printers etc. It's all good.
Edit; And I'm really looking forward to 2 weeks of wildlife photography in Scotland in Spring.

A LOT has gone on this year with regards to my social circles etc. But I'm glad I can finally say I've got a group I can go out with and enjoy being with again.
