Photobox Poster bargain

I think they laser print them - there's no way they can charge only £19 usually for a 32x20 ink print. I've just had a 30x20 matt one delivered, and it's just like a regular poster in terms of good paper quality and detail. It was straight out my 350d, and photobox gave it an 8/10. Once I saw it, the detail's really really good.

I'll just go buy 6 more :)
 
Last time they did this offer I got a 30x20 print of a panoramic of Zakynthos that I made using 6 frames from my 300D @ 18mm in portrait mode.

Quality & detail of the print was superb :)

^^ Photobox are usually a lot faster than their quoted lead time, although that may not be the case with this offer, once it gets "officially" started...

I was quoted 5 working days on an order I placed last week. 15 minutes later, I had a despatch email :D
 
Thanks for the heads up SDK. I am in the process of uploading a 14mb Jpeg file and will get a 30*20 printed for my mum as a suprise present.

OMG why now!!! Just finished my Photography and Art courses today. could have printed and mounted some of these bad boys up. :(

I've got that same picture! We hired bikes in town and cycled up there then down to one of the beaches. If I remember correctly there is a little bar\cafe to your left that made an awsome rest stop!!!

Spot on , I took the photo from the patio :D.

We stopped there on one of the island bus tours , managed to get some nice shots of the blue caves , churches etc :)
 
What is the Matt finish like?

I have some canon matt pho paper for my home printer and don't like it since its just like card - no gloss at all.

Im hoping that it's similar to the semi-gloss paper canon do which has a kind of finish to it but it doesnt reflect too much.

Yay!

I would be interested in seeing some of your other photos if possible. I visited many years ago and only had a little advantix type camera.
